Over the years we have acted for business with turnover from £15,000 to over £1,000,000, from Kinlochewe, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Tarbert, and Hexham as well as all over Central Scotland.

We will provide a standard of service which will delight you. We will:

  • Answer queries within 72 hours, if that is not possible we will keep you informed of when your query will be answered.

  • Return your calls within three hours, if that is not possible we will keep you informed of when your call will be returned.

  • Keep our replies as easy to understand as possible.

  • Be proactive to ensure that your accounts are prepared as soon as possible so that the figures are meaningful to you, and so that you know your tax liabilities as early as possible.

  • Continue to invest in training so that we are aware of the latest tax planning opportunities, the latest technological advances in business and best practice for running your business.

  • We will agree our annual compliance fees in advance via a Fixed Price Agreement; any services provided over and above the Fixed Price Agreement will be agreed separately, so there shall be no surprise fees.

  • We will minimise taxes payable by you or your business.

  • We will prepare draft accounts and estimate the tax payable within thirty days of receiving all requested information.

  • We will provide unlimited support, as much or as little as you need by phone or email.

  • We will contact you at least once per month, whether by meeting, by phone or email.

When my childhood dream of becoming a footballer was cruelly taken away from me due to lack of ability, I decided to go down the accountancy route instead.

A few years after qualifying, I went travelling round Europe, and had the time of my life. Unfortunately, I had to return to real life. I moved 200 miles and six months later in 1996 started my own accountancy practice in Glasgow.

For many years I was a typical accountant, providing a good service, but there was something missing. I wanted to make a difference to my clients, which has morphed into my vision of all clients really understanding their business numbers and financial accounts.

After nearly 18 years of self-employed I wrote my first book, "Your 60 minute business transformation" a 5* Amazon reviewed book. It wasn’t long after this that Susanne and I created ‘We are Business Transformers’ to help small businesses not make the mistakes we made in the early days.

On a personal note, Susanne and I have a delightful daughter who helps keep us young!

I love watching football, getting out to the hills or by the sea, catching up with friends and family, going away for the weekends in our VW Camper Van and going on holidays.

I have been a Project and Programme Manager for many years in a large organisation and the most important thing I learned was how important it is to focus and prioritise. When there is a lot to do it’s very easy to be overwhelmed and end up achieving very little! My energy has always been directed on bite size chunks, practical steady progress, and helping others to do the same. Simple to say but tough to do!

I was a network marketer for several years and learned the hard way how important it is to know your market and to set realistic goals. But it was only in 2010 that I worked out the job I really wanted to do and so re-trained to become a coach and facilitator. I absolutely love working with people to help them move their business forward. The combination of project management skills, business awareness and coaching means that I will always help you to focus on the most important thing for you and your business.

I am a local to Falkirk and live with my long suffering husband and son!

We enjoy the outdoors and afternoons out at the cinema. In my free time I love trying new dishes and baking which the family enjoys.

I am also passionate about wildlife, sea life and gardening and have a real love of nail varnish!!
